Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026. This policy explains what information HorseCalcs (horsecalcs.com) collects, how it is used and what choices you have.

We keep data collection to what is needed to run the site, understand how it is used and pay for it with advertising.

Using the site

You can use every calculator, converter and finder without creating an account. The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. Some calculators save your inputs in your browser’s local storage so your numbers are still there when you return, and that data stays on your device. Some tools let you copy a link to your result, and that link contains the values in its address, so share it only with people you want to see those values. When you finish a finder, your answers are passed to the result page in the page address, so they can appear in analytics reports along with the page address.

Information you send us

If you use the Report an Issue, Suggest a Calculator or Contact form, we receive the message you write and the name and email address you give. We use them only to read and respond to your message and to improve the site. Forms are delivered to us by a third-party form service. We do not sell this information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure how many people visit, which pages they view and how they reach the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. We use this in aggregate to see which tools are useful and where the site needs work. You can learn more and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense and may carry ads from other Google advertising partners. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can manage personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners use them for analytics and for advertising, as described above. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may change how ads are shown, but the calculators will continue to work.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, including other sites in the Calcs family and the veterinary and research sources we cite. We do not control those sites, and this policy does not cover them. Read their policies before you share information with them.

Children

HorseCalcs is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it and to object to certain processing. Because we collect little personal information, most requests are simple. To make a request, use our contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and significant changes will be noted on this page.
